Rev. Peggy Stout, Pastor

Rev. Stout graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Sociology. She is also a graduate of the Southeastern Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity with Religious Education.  Rev. Stout was an Associate Minister at Stuart Congregational UCC in Stuart, Florida from July 2000 – September 2004. She served as the Associate Pastor at Trinity UCC from March 2005, until she was installed as the Senior Pastor in September 2014.​

Rev. Jaha Seechang, Lahu Pastor

Rev. Seechang graduated from Grace Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education. He has also received a Master’s Degree in Theology and a Doctorate in Religious Education. He speaks numerous different languages and is the founder of the International Lahu Outreach Ministry. Rev. Seechang is originally from Southwest China and his family was one of the first Lahu families to live in North Carolina.

Marty Light, Organist

Mr. Light is a graduate of Georgia Tech (Bachelors of Ceramic Engineering) and Duke University (Masters of Business Administration) and has been a church musician for over 45 years.  He is recently retired and lives in Newton with his wife Kellie and their children.

Tamara Blevins, Director of The Children’s School

Mrs. Blevins has worked for our Children’s School for 19 years!!  She has worked in every class, has served as a lead teacher for all ages, and has been Assistant Director (under Cathy Higgins) for the past seven years.  Her hobbies include reading, thrifting, and having dinner with friends.  She is our NEW Director for the Children’s School, beginning in September of 2022.
